It's off and on, spotty as a pony. And driving me nuts, because it's too often, and no way to anticipate, so I have to either guard against it every day, or be eternally prepared (at which I SUCK).
I was foolish enough to think that once I had this done, EVERYTHING would be bye-bye for EVER. I didn't realize it would take weeks to get rid of all the extra stuff lying around.
I was naive and shocked to find out about all the bleeding that comes after childbirth. Not having a period was so wonderful for all those months of pregnancy, but to have to make up for all those missed ones at once? Somehow I stupidly also thought that having a c-section would eliminate the bleeding. Nope! But at least I was on the low end of the spectrum and only bled about a week and a half. That's still about 3 times longer than a regular period for me.
All that TMI just to say that I can't imagine going through that. When I'm not on the pill I'm irregular, and that causes enough anxiety.
I have to admit that if this is going to be the norm for the next few weeks, but I still get no periods afterward? It will have been worth it. My periods were hell. Just plain old hell.
You know, I remember being SO relieved to go without a period for all those months! I wasn't too pleased to see them come back then, either.
