While reading the list of 10 Celebrities who died in their 20's
I came upon this.  Most of you might remember him as Mark Sway in "The Client" 
or Huck Finn in Tom & Huck, with Jonathan Taylor Thomas. 
Brad's been a hell of a troubled man, but I've always loved his acting. 

I hate most that this didn't even make any news story that I heard
or read last week.

The same week that Geraldo Rivera and his broken nose were all over the world's front pages, Spider Robinson noted finding, in the back of the third(?) section of the paper; "Smallpox Eradicated".

In 1977, Bing Crosby's and Groucho Marx's passings were similarly eclipsed, by an Elvis-obssessed media.

The news of his passing was discussed on E.T, and I read many items about him on Yahoo and several other news sites. I was just as shocked at you when I saw this. So please don't think his passing went unnoticed. Sorry you are so upset. So, so, so sad. He was a very talented young man. He will be missed. His fan club are mourning too.

Ah, see. I don't have t.v. So I missed it, although I figured I would have seen it at Brent's this weekend.

For some reason I seem more affected by this than by Heath. Yet it reminds me that actors AREN'T being more careful with drugs and alcohol, and all these people in rehab are just the lucky ones.

Yeah, I know. Maybe it's because we first saw him as a "kid" that it sort of hits home with us. Everyone, not just the entertainment community is not being careful with alcohol and drugs. It's a "pill popping" world. You take care of you, eh? Love.

Really? It was on CNN's site as soon as the new broke. I saw it on several news sources. Even Ian McKellen blogged about it!

It was all over the news here. Even local news and radio. I was shocked, but then not shocked because of his track record. Heath Ledger on the other hand, I was shocked about.

Yeah, that was all over the news a little while ago. It's so sad that all these talented people keep dying off. He was last month, I believe, and now Heath Ledger. :\
