warkitty  has the title "Triathlete in Training" on her journal.  Which for some strange reason makes me want to change MY title to "Fat Girl in Training".  Most the time being the fat chick is okay with me.    I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay....

Brent is wrestling with a demon.  I'm intrigued to see the outcome.  I can easily imagine where "this thing" between us could go if he makes the change in his life that he speaks of, but it's way more than I ever wanted, and I don't want to live like "that".  Sorry I can't be less cryptic, but it's just too private at this point. I like my life, the people in it, my choices regarding my belief system and my relationship with God.  I just don't know. 

Scarlett RAN THE SWEEPER IN HER ROOM LAST NIGHT.  Yes, I had to tell her to do so, but she did it cheerfully and over the entire floor.  THE ENTIRE FLOOR!  We actually got everything picked up and it looks great.  GOT to try and help her keep it that way.  Holly, that's why I didn't call you back last night - by the time we finished I was busted, and crashed.  

I'm reading a really cool book right now, Middlesex.  Amazon gives it great reviews, but gives away one of the most fascinating twists in the description!  

Crap.  I forgot to lay the pork chops out again.  I don't get much chance to cook during the week - too many dance classes.  I made potato soup last night at Scarlett's request, then she didn't like it.  It wasn't like her dad's.  Strange, but whatever.  We'll eat it for lunch.  

I'm going to try and do some more work this morning while I have the energy.  My energy flags and crashes in the afternoon.  It's exhausing to fight sleep so hard and still lose.

Scarlett's doing better than I am. Do you think she'd come over and run the sweeper for me? And Middlesex is awesome. I saw the movie of the only other book I've known him to write and didn't care for it. Then I read Middlesex. Wow! I rushed back to the bookstore to request aything else he'd written and was told "that's it." Letdown. I keep hoping for another one.
