Air tomorrow, maybe.  It doesn't matter right now, since it's cold outside.

I want one of THESE. Isn't is pretty?  Today is the first day of Durga Puja.  No, I'm not Hindu.  I just think it sounds like fun.

In OTHER news - I found this article quite interesting.  Knights Templar persecution revealed.  Stirs my curiosity.

And J.K. is raising a stink in India.  This is how I found out about Durga Puja.  Geez, Jo, let the millions of dollars rest a bit.

Scarlett & I will be going to the book festival tomorrow, meeting Holly there and hanging out a bit.  I need a rolling grocery carrier.  Used to have one, but it got too busted up in the bottom.  I hate trying to carry all those books around, and taking them to the car is almost as traumatic.

That's all I got right now.

All they had to do is just not call it Hogwarts. "Wizard's Castle" or something generic would have kept them from getting in trouble even if they did use the book as their model.

I think people think badly of the author when stuff like this happen, when really, it's her lawyers and publishers that are doing it and they don't need her approval. That's just their job. If they let is slide here, then it snowballs.

I think if they had asked first, they might have been given permission, and I've never heard that copyright is violatable for religious reasons. If that was true, I could take big chuncks of Harry Potter, put it in a new book and call it a new religion.

See you tomorrow, btw. :)

It's probably the publisher's barristers that are raising the stink about 'Hogwarts'. I doubt she has any say in the matter.

Have fun at the book festival! :) I am so bad at those. Almost as bad as when we used to live a few blocks from Texas' largest half price books.

If you'll be stopping by to listen to Ms. degram tomorrow, I should see you. Gotta go back and look at her post again to make sure of the time. BUT, since you're taking Scarlett, I do want to mention that degram will likely not censor herself for children. Nothing she does is raunchy; it's just adult-themed sometimes.
