I'm So Excited!

Today is a good day. There is a divine cool breeze blowing this
morning, and it actually feels like the early stirrings of fall. I wish
I could be outside this morning. It's the perfect weather for Pumpkin
Festivals and Haunted Walks, and strolls through downtown Huntington or
Charleston.
I got all my medicine in me this morning on time, so I feel very good.
it appears Cymbalta has some sort of pain reliever which helps me
tremendously, although when the heel spur and knee pain is gone, the
back pain is exacerbated. THAT'S what triggers the desire for a Lortab,
to complete the "good feeling".
Extra caffeine from coffee before my shower helped a lot, too. That's
probably going to become a morning ritual while I'm helping Scarlett get
ready. I love flavored coffees, and Gevalia is my absolute favorite.
Scarlett is doing very well overall, behaviorwise. I just have to keep
my mood up, to help her keep hers up. And bedtimes are an absolute MUST.
Hasn't become necessary to disconnect the t.v. yet, but that time is
coming, I can see it.
Our state's latest slogan has been "Open for business." suggested by
our current governor, and hated by the majority of our citizens.
Finally, he's listened (hm, election year anyone?) and there is now a
poll
http://www.wvmetronews.com/index.cfm?func=displayfullstory&storyid=20686
(at the bottom of this news article) to let West Virginians decide our
slogan. Some of the better suggestions among my friends this morning
have included "West Virginia - They made us an offer. We didn't
refuse." "WV - we kiss our cousins and don't wear shoes." and "Welcome
to WV, our Governor hates state employees!" I voted for "Wild,
Wonderful" this morning, but I've decided I may return to vote again.
And again. I will also encourage all of you out there to vote - those
of you who aren't state citizens can use my zip code, 25303, or any one
of a number of others within the state: 25701, 25301, 25801, 26301,
26554, etc. Vote twice, cause that's how we roll here in the South.

My err--someone else I know who doesn't want anyone to know she's on meds--has been taking Cymbalta and had alot of success. My Dr. told me that if my current combo fails, Cymbalta is my last resort. If that doesn't work, then it's the looney bin for me. Weeee!
