So it's Wednesday, and I had too much codeine yesterday. Thus my head hurts. I wore my new tennis shoes for the first time yesterday, and my feet hurt like a muther. I don't know if it was too much support and my feet weren't used to it, or if these sandals I wear with the strap directly across the place where my foot was broken are actually better support. Either way, I'll be wearing them this winter, so I'd better get used to them.
Yesterday went extremely well with Scarlett. She did all the chores she was supposed to do before she watched t.v. She was pleasant and cheerful. She gave me very little grief about going to bed. She got up great yesterday morning, and again THIS morning. I am not foolish enough to believe this will last, but it is nice all the same.
Brent came for dinner. He was very helpful, setting the table, helping me put things away. He didn't stay long, but he never does. Not enough alcohol in my house, you know. Plus he doesn't like to drink and drive. That's good, I guess.
I'm bored.
