Somebody remind me that just because every man I've ever wanted in real life has rejected me at some point, it doesn't mean I'm less desireable, it doesn't mean there's some deep-seated thing wrong with me, I'm not a worthless human being just because nobody wants to be with me bad enough to actually be with me.

Because I need reminding.

I want to take this moment to say 'thank you' to those people who have commented in my lj during the last week or so. Thank YOU.

And somebody remind me that just because there are a lot of people on my 'friends' list who don't comment on my lj, it doesn't mean they're not my friends. It doesn't mean they don't like me or care what I think, or care to share what they think with me. It doesn't mean they can't be bothered to take a moment to say 'hey'.

Cause I need reminding of that, too.

You people who are reading this, who have lj's and are thinking "what a whiny attention-whore' remember. You have an lj. Thus, you crave attention too.

No sweetheart. I know that you abstain from commenting quite often in order to tell me online. There's a sense of permanence to a comment on lj, tho, that I find oddly comforting.

I think its because its a semi-public forum. Thus your words are there for all to see. I can tell someone til I'm blue in the face that someone has told me something online, but its hard to say, go here..., read this. With lj, I can do that.
