Just as well I woke up early. I DID go back to sleep but only for a little while.  Scarlett got up all by herself - not always indicative of a problem, but it was today.  She's got ew-blech of the tummy, and my mom's headed the OPPOSITE direction right now. Tests for my stepdad, so I'm staying home with the kiddo. I don't figure it will last long, cause she's still pretty active.

I'm home today too! Strange mood, I don't want to deal with the world today, so here I am.

Thanks luvvy. I don't really want to deal either, but mom's on her way. Gotta be there to answer the phones from 4 to 5, cause nobody else in my section stays that long. I'm really starting to resent it.

Guess it's a good thing you're staying off the roads; I saw the highway footage from WV on the morning news show. Was that anywhere near your neck of the woods?

A local TV station ran some news footage this A.M. of seriously iced freeways that was apparently from West Virginia; vehicles skidding/wiping out everywhere.

Not here. Thank goodness! It got down to maybe 28 last night, but it's headed toward 60. It's probably farther north - they have snow almost to Easter or beyond.

I'd be very interested to see that.
