Oh, again in other news. Ming (bad Kitty!!) keeps bringing in cicadas!   I've found six dead so far this week, and just a few minutes ago she carried in a LIVE ONE! DAMMIT! It was screeching and calling, and she was so damned proud. I really scared her when she dropped it and I screamed! They're damned loud! GAAAH!

some one of ours brought in a live chipmunk and let it go and it took us almost 3 months before we finally caught it and got it out of the house. It used to come out and get food from the dog's dish and then hide. None of the cats cared after they first brought it in. such a pain in the butt and it was tough to catch.

Your pets wanted a pet. What a pain in the ass.

The worst of it was the poor thing gut up in our bedroom and literally climbed the walls and knocked off an antique leaded glass lamp with a hand painted dome and smashed it. Finally we got it into the master bath and were able to capture it in a big cardboard box to carry it outside. But by then the damage was done.

Yep. That's pretty much what I was. I fucking HATE bugs. And dead birds, which is the only other thing she's ever brought me.

No. It's a bug, honey. They're also known as locusts, although they aren't, technically. They look a lot like this http://www.cicadamania.com/cicadas/ and are about as long and big around as my thumb. Just looking at the picture makes me shiver.

*lol* A neighbor's cat in UK, that had adopted me and Dimitris *smile* - I swear that cat loved us -, used to bring us worms and slugs every time it rained - and if you consider the fact that in the UK it rains a lot, then you can imagine what was happening...
