The most stupidest, dumb-assin'est thing I've ever heard. !!!
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060626/ap_on_he_me/sexual_orientation
I'm sorry, but this sounds like bullshit to me. I've often wondered if there was a tendency for men who were only sons, raised by overbearing mothers, to be gay more often, but this? I just don't know. And that doesn't mean that I think being homosexual is environmental as opposed to biological. I find it very easy to believe that some people are born homosexual. I just don't think this 'older brother' theory holds up.
In other news:
What made me laugh this morning: I got a call this morning from a very upset old man, who said "So-n-so Minin' is a-haulin' coal outta the holler where we live up'air, an' an' an' the road's sa-dusty we cain' hardly see ta breathe!!"
I now return you to your regularly scheduled broadcast. I'll be in a Free Cell game, if you need me.

Date: 2006-06-26 06:18 pm (UTC)Statistics can be manipulated to "prove" almost anything...besides, the sample (944) is much too small to make any real statistical sense.

Date: 2006-06-26 07:07 pm (UTC)I don't think it does either. How would having brothers or sisters increase or decrease the chances of being homosexual or heterosexual..
You could have four kids, and they could all be gay. Or they could all be straight or whatever comnination or sexuality you can think of.
He's escaping the key factor: We are all different, we don't need to be told and finally - Get over it.
lol.

I'm very equal rights and all that... Don't see the point in being "Anti-Everybody-Who-is-Different-from-Me".
If you've seen my latest rant post about what Government or Somebody wants to do with books... You'll probably get the impression from that.
