And that's about the extent of the excitement. 

Well, made it safe and sound, only maybe one panic attack or two. Power steering went out about ten miles from dad's house, which freaked me out. He's added fluid, not seen much improvement, 'called the man'. The man will come and look at it tomorrow. Gotta love hangin' with the godless, they get shit done on Sunday. 

My sister and I are talking about the zoo tomorrow - I hope so. I wanna see the birds again. We've had a good time so far, everyone's getting along well, which is remarkable. My dad and I sat and watched the Kennedy shows that were on the History Channel tonight, it's one point of politics on which we agree wholeheartedly. I loved them, tho I never knew them. Of course I found myself wishing Brent could be there, he and dad would mesh politically very well - and they both graduated with degrees in Political Science.  Oh well, all in good time, or not at all. No matter. 

Scarlett found a tick in her ear, that hadn't latched on. My sister has found two others since she's been here, and I'm not crazy about letting my kid play outside any more. When Scarlett figured out it was a tick, she became less interested in going back outside as well. 

I need to go to bed. I'm bushed-ed.
