The girl in the pic is choosy about her toys. She won't chase hair elastics like Suzi, in fact she won't fetch ANYthing. Her favorite place to meet me and love on me is the bathroom. She comes in there with me in the morning waiting for her olive oil, or poking at me through the shower curtain. She gets her loving while standing on the sink, her face buried in my elbow, with my other arm wrapped around her body. That's one of the few times I hear her purr. She's just not very lovey.
She has one toy that is a favorite, and she doesn't get it very often. Yesterday afternoon I heard a ruckus in the bathroom, and knew it was her before I even got in there. I arrived in time to see her nabbing the cap to my contact solution, dropping it on the floor and chasing after it. These caps are her absolute favorite, probably because they aren't symmetrical so you can't tell where they will go when you smack them with a paw. I don't let her have them because I like to keep them on my solution. (dammit!) She apparently had spotted one and so climbed up on the sink counter, grabbed the cap with her paw or teeth, knocking over a few things in the process, then dropped it to the floor with a clatter.
She's a pretty damned smart cat. Even if she DOES eat plastic bags.
