Freakin' Friday

And I want to be HOME goddammit.  HOME.  I feel like shit. You know, like cause of the cold weather.  My kid is home because her toe was swollen this morning (the one she might have broken) and she was exhausted from her field trip to Pittsburgh yesterday. Then when she called she sounded miserably stuffed up and cloggy, so I'm glad I kept her home.  She doesn't need to be out in this. 

I got to looking at myself today, trying to see me from an outsider's point of view, and I realized that I look like I've been in a particularly bad fight.  I might have won, but I didn't come away unscathed.  I have stitches in my upper chest where you can see them, a big red spot there from all the scratching, a huge open sore on my right forearm with a bandaid over it, (where one mole was burnt off) a bruise a little bigger than a quarter on my left bicep below the sleeve line so it's visible too, (a hickey) and dark circles under my eyes.  I guess its a good thing you can't see my back from here. 

I'm so sick of life right now.
