mynewplace Do you ever miss being understood? I hope you have that, more than anything else that I wish for you. I hear things, and you don't sound quite so happy as you have. You know, I miss that more than anything else. Being understood. There are so few who are more than casually interested, and those who would try to understand, well, I just can't let them in any further. It's not fair to them, they're so overwhelmed with what little I give, and I can't give them everything, because it will push them over the edge. I have to protect them, prevent them from falling in any deeper. So I pull away a little. But I have no outlet for this. I suppose it doesn't matter. But I'm going to pretend that it does, at least to you.
