I feel like I haven't done a damned thing today. but nothing could be farther from the truth. I've hung shelves, hung pics, done a few loads of laundry, and I can get through the house much easier now. Still not clean, but to a point where I would allow certain people in. Not other certain people. But anyway. Hung my feng shui bells tonight. Changed my bed. Dammit, why am I so fucking bored?

I've got to go to church with my mother tomorrow, then to her house for dinner. I'll try to do most the cooking, and cleanup afterward. I bought her a hanging flower basket. I don't think that's enough, but it's going to have to do.

Am craving something, but can't put my finger on what. I'm losing my lust for life, my "umph" now that my office is downstairs. No chance of accidentally seeing Brent, no friends to talk to on the way to the rest room, no gossip going on in the halls, no one to impress with the way I dress or look. I just want to crumple up in a ball. I have no desire to do anything to or for myself.

Strangest thing. Scarlett and I have been eating a mozarella ball that Tom sent me for Christmas - it's the sharpest mozarella I've ever tasted. Scarlett and I loved it. Thanks Tom.

I have no use for tarot cards. Why did I buy them? I think it was just because I wanted to get past that barrier I had in my mind about owning them.

And I'm out of things, I think. I'm watching "Hanging Up".  It's remarkably good.

Nite ya'll.

One door has closed. Another will open. Yadayadayada. You know that drill.

But I think this is the corridor between.

Does that mean we'll get more pictures of the post computer unpacking cleanness?

I had to take a net-vacation for most of yesterday. I had gotten a little manic about my home email problems. They finally go fixed and I needed to unplug and walk away. We went to see RV with Robin Williams for the afternoon matinee. Story about a 50 year old workaholic that doesn't have enough time for a real life with his wife or kids... sound familiar? Well, we laughed at most of it but I will admit to tearing up in a couple of spots... glad theaters are dark.

Happy Mother's Day. Be brave and good vibes for your visit.

Thanks. I saw where you'd commented in several places, but I know I was kinda absent myself yesterday, intentionally. Glad to hear you liked RV. I might take Scarlett to see it this evening.

Me? Several places?? 8^)

yes, I had to take the break and it helped. amazing what 12 hours can do. Cat (Nikki of the icon) problems today 8^( Enjoy the movie if you go. Average age at our matinee was about 10. Totally appropriate once you get past the poop humor at the beginning.
