mmmmmmm, a gyro sounds great and... it's WEDNESDAY (except, it's really friday, isn't it) and... life looking up is good, look forward to reading more about it and.... can you tell my brain is all over the map.
Not much this weekend. A possible brunch, but that hasn't been confirmed. Church Sunday with mom, and dinner at her house - I think I'm going to do some of the cooking.
Next weekend looks promising. But I am refraining from comment due to jinx-itis.

It's a trick. We use the regular Arby's meat and put a TON of spices on it. 90% of the people we suggest it to tell us they don't want it unless it has lamb on it, which it doesn't of course. Not for $2.99, no way. I make my own gyros using the pita bread and sauce (both of which are excellent) and put a thinly-sliced sliced "chicken naturals" breast on it. I don't know WHY they can't sell one with chicken on it...it would be fantastic.
They could. Chicken gyros aren't unheard of, and I'm sure they ARE excellent. They actually cooked my gyro meat in peppers and stuff too, not just spices. I mean there were slivers of pepper in there. Awesome stuff, I'm tellin' ya, but you don't need to hear it. You KNOW. You're THERE.
And that chicken salad? FUKINROX!!! I mean, I don't even bother making chicken salad any more. GUH.
