Another Monday
Feb. 9th, 2009 03:16 pmThey just don't stop coming, do they? Monday after Monday after Monday.
Yeah I know. Better than when they DO stop coming. Still, I'm running out of patience with myself because I can't come up with a better title for this post.
I got a new camera with some of my income tax money. Circuit City is going out of business, so I figured I could find a good one there. They were only 30% off, which was disappointing, but still better than nothing. I found a nice Nikon for $110. The only thing I can find so far that I don't like about it is that it takes so long to snap a picture. By the time it actually snaps, a cat's head has turned away and all you get is a tail. Or a picture of my leg. I did manage to get a few good ones.
( My mischevious Mitzi )
( Jasmine is never far away from me.... )
( Suzi.... )Scarlett went to mom's this weekend, but gave mom grief about going to church on Sunday, so I was called at 8:30 a.m. to meet them at church and pick her up. Brent says I should have refused and forced mom to deal with it. I don't know any more. Dealing with Scarlett wears me out after about 10 seconds. I can't slap her every time I want to, I'd never get anything else done. I don't think her meds are quite right, and frankly, I don't believe mine are either. I have a couple pictures of her, but they are less than flattering. So I will spare her pre-teen psyche. I've still got to get a good picture of her with her hair straightened.
Brent asked me at lunch why I'm depressed. The usual reasons; I'm sick of my life, I am constantly surrounded by things that need to be done, and I don't want to do them. Any of them. Ever. Even during these last couple of weeks when I was at home more than I was at work, I couldn't get motivated until around lunch time. Sometimes even later. The only thing that I did this weekend which was remotely satisfying was walking through an estate sale, and buying a couple of things.
Now THAT.
Yeah.
That was satisfying.
I need to get a picture of the art work I picked up. That will make me smile some. I'll do that this evening.
