And thus I am a happy camper. FINALLY somebody is listening to me. All I ever wanted was something to ease the stress when it comes - I LOVE my mood swings, I don't want to lose the edge and sparkle of my personality. I don't WANT to be even-tempered! I WANT TO BE ME! Except when ME is about to lose the top of me head from too much anxiety!! OMG I'm so relieved.

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
Hot Chocolate
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
He sits most of them under and around the tree. The Barbie and Bratz stuff he kinda plays with a little first. heh
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
I like white, but enjoy colored on other people's trees.
4. Do you hang mistletoe?
Nope. It makes me sad.
5. When do you put your decorations up?
The week after thanksgiving, or mid-December, depending on my mood and if I'm depressed or not. Not sure what I'm going to do this year because I really don't WANT a tree, and those damned kittens will probably break the good stuff I like to set out.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
hash brown casserole, or sweet potatoes
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child:
The year all my cousins came before Christmas, and we all slept in the basement on Christmas Eve. VERY exciting. Or the year that my stepsister and I laid in her twin bed singing "Bertha Butt Boogie", and my grandma arrived at about 5 a.m.. Or the year my stepsisters and I got our Barbie Vans and toe sox.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
I have no idea.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
We never really did until Scarlett came along. Then my parents couldn't stand to wait til Christmas morning.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree?
Personally, I have lots of glass and silver and gold, with puffy pink glass hearts and strings of beads. Lots of angels, then all the ornaments Scarlett has made over the years. We have a Precious Moments collection and a Barbie ballerina collection for the tree, and a Hallmark Gone With the Wind collection that sits out all year.
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it?
I LOVE it, as long as I can stay home.
12. Can you ice skate?
Yes. Well, I could, quite well, until I broke my ankles in that car accident. Then no more ice OR roller skating for me. I was heartbroken when I decided to sell my skates. I had both.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
Nothing beat the new Barbie stuff every year. When that stopped coming, Christmas lost it's sparkle.
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?
Family. Seeing everyone, having lots of food that we only have at that time of year, playing games and laughing and listening to great Christmas music. Watching the specials with Scarlett - I LOVE that some stations show something every night of December. Even going to church is special.
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?
Date balls. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
A big fancy breakfast with various family members dropping in during the morning. Orange cranberry muffins, a special omelette, and latkes.

I have an angel, I think. Or a star. I really can't remember.

I LOVE buying presents. But I LOVE getting them too!

- What is your very earliest memory? There is a scattering of memories of the house where we lived when I was 3 or four - baby ducks, a swingset, sledding on my daddy's back, and standing on the fence to watch fireworks. A boston terrier named Midget, and a puppy.
- If immortality were an option, would you want to live forever? Why or why not? Yeah, I think so. I'm too nosy to die.
- Assuming there is a next life, would you come back as the same gender or the opposite gender? Why? I'd kinda like trying out manhood, but I dunno, being a woman rox.
- What do you still need to accomplish in this lifetime to feel that you are “done?” Raise my kid to independence, feel financially safe, find a man who loves me that I can love in return.
