May. 28th, 2006 09:45 amUgh. Pavanne brought home a cold, all the way from her D.C. book junket by way of Nova Scotia. And then gave it to me.
Sore throat didn't go away. Instead, it invited THE SNOT PATROL to take residence inside my sinuses. Not as a means of exit, mind you, just to sit there and weigh heavily on the delicate bones that hold my eye and cheek in place. Send a scout or two down my throat once in a while, just enough to make me cough, unproductively. Another search party occasionally gets caught in a tissue.
I'm out of vitamin C, so I put mango slices in the yogurt this morning. A pot of blackberry sage echinacea tea is brewing as I write this, with little chunks of candied ginger in the bottom of the pot. Can't smell it thank you snot patrol!! but I'll be inhaling steam as soon as I post this.
Tea! I need TEA! aaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggggggggg
