Better

Mah GAWD I feel better!  Dumped-out, relaxed, pour me all over the street better! Apparently I had some emotional constipation going on there, or something. Thanks, G, for letting me drop it on you. I HOPE you didn't take that personally, or pick up any negative emotional vibes from that. If you did, I'm awful sorry. 

But I feel like I can breathe again, for the first time in three days.

Jeff called today to check on Scarlett. She's still running a fever, her thoat's still sore, and she's had a headache more than she's not. But she's still feeling better. I asked politely about his mother, and he started in on 10 minutes of detail and chat that aggravated the living shit outta me. I won't be rude to him, I don't want to make him uncomfortable with me or make him dislike me. But jeepers criminy - where the fuck was he ten years ago, when I needed HIM to talk to? When I wanted to know all that shit about his life and his mother and blahblahblah? Stupid bastard thinks we can be buddies now or something. I wanna smack him with my shoe. 

Well, it's shower time for the kiddo.  Then off to bed with her, after some serious med-dosing. 

In other news, Sammy is a big ol' lumpa sugar. He will have very little left when I get done with him on Friday.  He actually said THIS:  "Baby, I just wanna make you feel as beautiful as you really are." And then something about LOVING my stomach. To which I promptly replied "Where the fuck have you been all my life?"
