It WAS exciting! And you know, one of the things that he and I talked about was his lack of ethnic models, esp. African-American and Latina women. He thinks its because of the influence of strong male figures and their disapproval of the idea of nude photography.
You know, there was a time when I felt the same way. I've always had HORRIBLE insecurities, from years of being told that I was ugly, and years of watching men walk away after just one encounter. But in the last year, I've gained a lot of confidence. Its tenuous, but the pictures that I've posted, and the response that I've gotten from them, is really helping secure it. I still wonder how I manage to keep ending up alone, but that's something that I'll figure out eventually, I guess. Or something I'll live with.
