I cooked like a mad woman
Jan. 13th, 2009 04:50 pmI'm so proud!
I completely assembled a tuna noodle casserole and put it in the refrigerator. Just needs popped in the oven one evening and voila! Dinner!
I laid out ground beef to thaw for meatloaf. I will mix it up this evening while Scarlett is at dance, and pop IT in the oven perhaps the next evening.
I puree'd tomatoes, added leftover marinara sauce, some marinara seasoning, and thus created MORE marinara sauce. Enough for a meal now. The chicken has been thawed, and Scarlett will start the angel hair in about 10 minutes. Hopefully we'll have something for her to eat before dance tonight. If not, we'll have a substantial meal for her to eat AFTER dance.
I've never in my life fixed so much food ahead of time. Go team me!
Scarlett and I played Parcheesi last night, had a great time. She sounds pretty grouchy this evening, but she'll be at dance most the time, and thus out of my hair with her grumpy self. She usually comes home from dance happy.
And that's all I've got.
