Obituary - Michael Crichton

OOHHH NOOOOO!
I cannot convey how sad I am.
Now I will never get to meet Michael Crichton.
I am going to try harder to meet John Grisham.
I can't let him get away, too.

Just checked my email a few minutes ago, and found a link to a TV Guide story about him. :(

I have one of his first medical thrillers on paperback. The one author I'd like to meet is William Gibson. Until the late 1990's, he typed all of his stories on a manual typewriter. Incredible, considering he's one of the premier writers of science fiction (a genre I haven't read much from in the last few years).
