I'd rather hear Deep Purple's "Space Truckin'" myself in the Odyssey ads. One of their songs is in a Jaguar ad, "Hush". Truckin' is about space travel, but considering that there's room for eight in the van, it would work for me.

But I do love the Grateful Dead. I've gotten most of their bootlegs here: http://www.sugarmegs.org/ Too bad I can't download 'em now... they need a new host for that, but there are plenty of sites that have them available anyway. :)
True. But wouldn't a more flowery song go better with the imagery they're using in the ad? I prefer The Immigrant Song only because ... well, because I PREFER it. Period. (I love that song. LOVE I tell you!)
I had forgotten how "otherworldly" her songs have been. There's a lot of goddess imagery in her lyrics. Isn't she awesome? Brent will flip over this video - thanks!
You may want to check out her new solo cd "Hope and Glory. It is mostly cover tunes like "imigrant song" and they are related to the social situation of today. She does many songs with others like Elton John. :0)
