I’m No Angel - Gregg Allman

I like a lot of the earlier, blues influenced stuff the Allman Brothers did on albums such as "Eat a Peach"

In Your Wildest Dreams - Moody Blues

I once read someone comment on LJ that no one did "portentous pretentious" like the Moody Blues, meaning that as half put-down half compliment. I think they may have been on to something. I like some of their early stuff. I think that on one of their albums they had a song about someone coming across a bunch of little animals playing musical instruments, I only heard that song once but really enjoyed it. i don't care for "Days of Future past" so much.

Mysterious Ways - U2
Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For - U2

U2 rocks , no doubt about it.

Most the songs have been chosen for the way their lyrics apply to my life, or speak to me. I agree Moody Blues can be pretentious at times, but their music sends me.
