I actually found myself sitting in the movie last night, as the final scene was playing out - BEFORE the epilogue scene - hearing the following dialogue in my head:

Harry kicks a rock - "Well guys, now what?"
Hermione takes his hand - "Jobs, I guess. Unless they'll let me take finals first."
Ron takes her other hand - "Just picture it, you two.  The three of us, in auror's robes!"
and they close their eyes.........

I would love to further explore the Potterverse; I mean, if every new British Prime Minister gets the "ahem" from 'that painting' on the back wall that just can't be moved, no matter what, and is subsequently introduced to the existence of the magical world, think of the possibilties. Is ther a similar painting in the Oval Office? Think of how Nixon would have lost it, once he'd had his eyes opened... (Kennedy would've handled it, no problem...)

There's loads of intriguing possibilities, of course. It's why I spent so much time wrapped up in Potter once I discovered fan fiction.

Mom, Katie and I tried to watch it yesterday at the earliest showing possible. The "player" for the movie crashed at the BIG FINAL scene!! As everyone in the audience is already in tears - it crashes. Never picks up again and we all get refunds. So I still don't know what happened, I never read the books. So I guess I will attempt to view next week sometime! I am going to miss them!

I heard about that! It's too bad, but I hope you get a chance to see it again soon. A lot of people feel it was the best movie of them all. It certainly tied up a lot of loose ends.
